Hannover!
Hello there from Hannover, Germany! We have just completed our first full day in this great city. They have an awesome small animal clinic, and a nice horse clinic that we got to tour today. Then we saw all sorts of farm animals our t at the school's farm... there were so many birds in their poultry rooms, and the turkeys were huge! We had quite a full day with all of this activity, but we actually got out earlier than we thought we would, and my wonderful host student took me and a couple of classmates on a tour of Hannover! It was great to see all of the different sites that we otherwise would not have seen, its a shame that we had no city tours on our itinerary for this leg of the trip. The new city hall was really a site to see with all of this grand decor and fantastic architecture as well as a picturesque lake in the rear with a beautiful trail surrounding it. If you ask me, that would be an awesome place to get married and my host says that have many weddings and events at this venue all of the time. We also saw some crazy statues, the Nanas, and topped our tour off at a fantastic tea room. It was the perfect way to cap off our tour. What a great day in Hannover!
