Week one
This first week has gone by fast now that we look back on the week. At the time, the week seemed to be draging on. Not due to lack of thrill and enjoyment, but due to the fullness of the days. I have been doing as much as I can as offten as I can to take in every moment this trip has to offer. I have forgotten to sleep a time or too but that can be ramified later, after the trip. Now is the time to explore. So in the mornings, most mornings, I have been getting up a little earlier than the others to go for a run in the morning. I love this because you see the places and cities in a completely different way, it is truly beautiful. The parks here are amazing and very common. They can be very large but they also seem to be very large in quantity not just size. The biggest difference I have enjoyed so far, besides the history, is the way the cities are designed. The center of these cities, like the market district, is designed for pedestrians. This is completely different than America, where cars and convience comes first. Cars are even after public transport, like trains and buses, here; again, very different. This next week is mostly Hannover with my new host students which are some of the kindest and wonderful people I have meet thus far on this trip. More about them later.
