Hallo!
I just wanted to say how super excited I am to go to Germany this summer. I have been there a couple of times before but never on a veterinary school trip. I think it is so important for our profession to have international contacts as well as to understand how veterinary medicine works around the world. I am really excited to meet my host students as well as learn more about the veterinary schools that we visit. Also, I have never done a behind the scenes tour of a zoo before and am super stoked!
Another thing that will be really great is having the chance to represent Texas A&M University. We have a wonderful student body and faculty in general and I am really looking forward to working internationally as a part of TAMU. I just wanted to end my pre-journey blog with a big thanks to all of our colleagues in Europe as well as in TAMU. Thank you for setting up such an amazing experience for us!
