Germany is almost here!

I can't believe that we leave for Germany tomorrow evening! I am so excited that I have finally finished making my reservations for our free weekends and right now I am getting all of this useful last minute advice from friends and family of where to go/ what to do/ what NOT to do, ect... I don't know how to describe how I feel about this, on one hand I'm scared out of my mind of all the bad things that can happen, but on the other hand I cannot wait for this once in a lifetime adventure to play out. I know our experiences are going to be amazing and our experiences in all of these new places will change us for the better. This trip will give me the chance to experience life outside of the United States, something I have never done before. While researching these different places and listening to people talk about these cities its amazing how different two places can be while they are within such close proximity to each other. I hope that I will be able to get a true appreciation of the different cultures we will be placed in, and I will get to know more about my German heritage. I know this trip will be rough at times for all of us, but I hope that we can all pull each other through and get the most out of this wonderful opportunity to grow as people.
