So we have done a lot in the Netherlands...
Everything from visiting the Burger Zoo which was wonderful although we needed to spend more time there wandering on our own, they had amazing exhibits. Then we went on a nature bike ride through the De Hoge Veluwe National Park...it was huge and our group split up a little bit. At one point we lost the first group, they were so far ahead that every time we past an empty bike that someone had abandoned we joke that they diappeared...dont worry we made it all safely to the art museum. Although fascinating and interesting I just done understand modern art. I dont think I ever will...oh well!
In Utrecht my roommate and our host student and I went to her painting class, one of the clubs she is in are painting pictures of farm animals and selling them for charity. Wow they are amazing artists..this might be a good fundraising idea to bring back to our school!
They also gave a few leactures and took us behind the scenes at their clinics. They were maintained really well and had an interesting layout for their surgical suite, like nothing i've seen before. I had an amazing time in the Netherlands. Now off to meet my dad for a vacation in Germany.
