The Berlin Zoo and Aquarium were incredible!!! They were so much fun to get to run around and see so many animals, we saw a giant panda, the only one not owned by the Chinese government by the way, and polar bears, and penguins! The Aquarium was quite impressive as well, they had all kinds of fish and aquatic life, and on the 2nd floor there were all different kinds of reptiles, then the 3rd floor was the amphibians and insects! It was such a neat and relaxing experience to just get to go wander aimlessly around the zoo in Berlin!
Yesterday we went to the Karnival! it was such a fun experience, there were booths set up from all different cultures of the world, with foods drinks and native items to buy. We heard cultural music all up and down the streets, and we just enjoyed the view and walked around! We had a lot of fun.
Now we are about to get on the plane for a 16 hour journey back home. It is bittersweet, I have really enjoyed my month here, but I am ready to be home.
